You can go to accounts under system preferencesįrom there click on your login name and pick login items. I agree with sshaPhoto's Jing, is bling! I use it all the time. Not Screenflow's fault since it is using Quicktime to do the exporting. I am having trouble figuring out a way to get decent quality video while keeping the file size down. Makes for a better looking video and easier to show details when needed. I've been doing some practice runs on my workflow video today and it is great that I can do call-outs, zoom-ins, and other edits after it's recorded. I am loving that I can actually do something with it when I'm done. everything else wants to limit your capture space, requiring more advance work initially.

There's nothing else out there that can capture the full screen at full speed. When I have some Aperture videos ready I'll post them in a new thread. It'll take me a couple days to get the hang of the app and put my thoughts together. The PP editing tools in Screenflow really sold me.

Well, if it's worth doing it's worth doing right. We'll see if I can get myself organized enough to make it work. I did find a couple that I like that are affordable. However, it is more money than I have to spend. Screenflow is better than anything I have tried, mainly because of the post processing tools.

I run too many system hogs to have resources used up by background apps. I tried Jing and didn't like that it runs in the background all the time. I've used ScreenFlow before and found it to be really good. I think Screenflick might work for you, I think i saw it on the Apple site.

Does anyone have a fave they use or know what is popular among screencasters? I have looked at a few and have done some short trials. At the moment I don't have screencast software. I am thinking of doing some screencasts of my Aperture workflow.
